Crocs love to sunbake - so the typing does make sense and besides there already is Totodile's family (water) and Meguroko (ground/dark).
I love this design coz it still is recognisable as a crocodile - yet looks nothing like existing crocodile/alligator pokemon. Also, there aren't enough fire types!
