Dex Entry (thanks to Studio51Chief , DarkArcanine33 and DracoDragite ): The large shell on its back contains an explosive charge that blows up on contact. It stores air in it to help it float through the water. Navell release excess air in the form of bubbles which, along with their mine-like appearance, scares attackers into thinking they're about to explode. Several careless boats and submarines have been sunken by this Pokémon over the years, and legends say there are colonies of hundreds connected Navell dwelling through the Naisu seas.
