Description   Without thinking, Treypaw hurled himself at Tigerstar and dug his fangs deep into his neck. The huge tabby tom batted him off, sending Treypaw flying across the clearing. Scrabbling to his paws, he leaped once more at Tigerstar, but a voice from behind them stopped him.
"Treypaw." said the voice. Treypaw spun around to see Firestar standing in the spot where, just moments ago, he had lost a life. Brambleclaw, who had been in the fight as well, padded to his leader's side and let the orange tom lean against his shoulder. Firestar turned to Tigerstar. "ShadowClan has gone too far in this fight. ThunderClan," he called, turning to the other cats. "We are leaving."
Treypaw cast one last glare at Tigerstar before bounding after his Clanmates. But before he could disappear into the trees, he turned back to the ShadowClan cats. He jumped in surprise when he saw that the ShadowClan cats had already gone.

"Dodge! Keep your claws sheathed, Leafpaw!"
Treypaw hissed as he scrabbled to his paws, and turned to lick the scratch Leafpaw had just given him. "Thanks a lot!" he spat, sheathing his claws in and out on the sandy ground.
Ashfur and Dawnclaw trotted up to their apprentices. "Are you alright?" Ashfur asked, looking down at Treypaw.
"I'm fine," Treypaw mewed, giving his side one last lick. He looked back up at Leafpaw. The tortoiseshell she-cat had her eyes fixed on her paws, not daring to look up at him or her mentor. "Hey," he said, padding over to his sister. "I'm fine. Honest."
Leafpaw glanced up at him. She had a look of guilt in her eyes, but Treypaw noticed she was trying to hold in a smile. Treypaw leaned closer and licked her affectionately on her cheek. Leafpaw let out a mew of surprise, and looked at Treypaw. Smiling, she batted him over the ears with her front paw.
"I think that's enough training for today," Dawnclaw said, stepping between the apprentices.
Just then, the leaves rustled at the other side of the clearing. Treypaw turned in time to see Brambleclaw step into the training hollow. The tabby tom looked around, then walked over to them once he had spotted them. "Ashfur! Leafpaw!" the deputy called. Treypaw and Leafpaw exchanged glances, then Leafpaw bounded after Ashfur as the grey tom trotted over to Brambleclaw.
"We'll go ahead and go back to camp!" Dawnclaw called after them, and he started towards the forest. Treypaw followed, exhausted from training with Leafpaw.

It was cold as Leafpaw padded along beside Ashfur. Earlier at the training hollow, Brambleclaw had told them to travel across the WindClan moor, to an old abandoned twoleg barn- orders from Firestar. They where to find a cat named Ravenpaw, who had once lived in ThunderClan, and bring him back to talk to Firestar.
Leafpaw stopped when the smell of a thunderpath reached her scent glands. She was right; just a few pawsteps farther and she was right beside the thunderpath. Ashfur stopped beside her. "Do we cross?" Leafpaw asked her mentor. The words where barely out of her mouth when a heavy weight bowled into her and pinned her to the ground. Ashfur yowled in alarm; there must be more than one cat attacking them. Leafpaw let out an annoyed hiss, and pelted her attacker with many kicks from her hind paws. The black tom gasped, then released his grip on Leafpaw, jumping off and landing a few pawsteps away.
Leafpaw scrabbled to her paws. Ashfur leaped to her side, his fur bristled and his teeth bared at the black and white tom who had attacked him. The two cats stood in front of them, and Leafpaw noticed the black tom had his gaze fixed on her and Ashfur.
"You two are from ThunderClan, yes?" the black tom asked. Leafpaw flicked her ears up in surprise.
"Well... yes. Are you Ravenpaw?" Ashfur asked, stepping forward.
The black cat nodded. "This is Barley," he mewed, turning towards his friend.
"Firestar sent us," Ashfur continued. "He wants the two of you to come back to ThunderClan. He wants to talk to you."
Ravenpaw and Barley exchanged glances. Leafpaw guessed they wouldn't be too keen to leave their home. Brambleclaw had described to them how rich the barn was with mice, and how even during leaf-bare it was still warm.
  "Alright. We will come."
Ravenpaw's reply surprised Leafpaw. Surely they would've wanted to stay?
Ashfur didn't seem as surprised as she was. "Great," he meowed cheerily. "We'll leave at once." the flecked grey tom led the way as the four cats headed back toward Clan territory. Leafpaw couldn't help feeling Ravenpaw's gaze pierce her fur as they padded along.

  "Wake up, you lazy furball!"
Treypaw woke at the sound of Leafpaw's voice. He was curled up in his nest in the apprentice's den. Yawning, he stood up and stretched. He caught a glimpse of Leafpaw's tail as she dashed out of the den. Blinking sleep from his eyes, he followed his sister out into the clearing.
Firestar was perched on top of the highrock. Treypaw realized with a jolt that he had called a Clan meeting while he slept. "Cats of ThunderClan," the orange tom called. "We have two cats who have joined our ranks. Barley and Ravenpaw." the cats below where silent as two skinny tom cats padded towards the highrock. "Ravenpaw was once a ThunderClan apprentice, and I'd like for him to earn his warrior name. Is that alright with you, Ravenpaw?" Firestar meowed, looking down at his friend.
  Ravenpaw nodded. "Yes, Firestar."
Firestar nodded in return, then continued. "Ravenpaw, it took a great effort leaving the Clan moons ago, and returning today. It is time for you to become a warrior. From now on, you will be named Ravenwing." the ThunderClan leader's voice echoed around the camp.
"Ravenwing! Ravenwing!" the Clan cheered. Treypaw joined in. Firestar leaped off the highrock, and the Clan broke up and went back to whatever they had been doing.
"Treypaw!" called a voice. Treypaw turned to see Dawnclaw padding up to him. "Treypaw, you can come with me and Ravenwing to show Barley the territory. He's never been to the forest." the white tom added, flicking his ears to where the two cats waited beside the gorse tunnel. Dawnclaw turned and trotted to the two new warriors, leaving Treypaw to bound after him.
