With their most recent addition, Kingdom Hearts 3, I've never played Kingdom Hearts. But now that I've heard of Kingdom Hearts 4, I suppose there might be new worlds. After reviewing the many theories on TV Tropes, I decide on Amphibia because it features a human and anthropomorphized animals. My concept for how Sora, Donald, and Goofy might appear in this universe was completed after a few days.

I started with Goofy's frog design. A lanky body and a large nose like his were difficult to find among Amphibia frog characters, to start. But then I discovered Gunther, a Southern Tusk Frog character from the episode "Croak & Punishment." Therefore, I used references from Monstropolis, including Goofy's monster form, to base Gunther's design for Goofy's design. With Goofy and the frogs from Wartwood Swamp, particularly Wally Ribbiton, I discover references for creating Frog Goofy's clothes. So I gave him ripped boots like Wally's, Goofy's black vest, blue shorts with multicolored patches, and a large hat that is a cross between a top hat and a fishing hat.

Donald's toad design comes next. His beak is the biggest design challenge. No one had a mouth that resembled a beak, but after searching online, I discovered Triprion spatulatus, the shovel-headed treefrog, which has labial lips that are spoon-shaped, like a duck's beak in my opinion. The reference I also used is Donald’s frog design from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode “Donald the Frog Prince.” The toad characters thus far feature enormous, hefty bodies, sharp teeth, bumpy skin, and what look to be claws on their fingers. Using the toad's armor designs as a base, I then gave Donald a blue cape, yellow ankle braces to represent his feet, and a face that, in my opinion, looks more like a pelican than a duck. This helped the color scheme mix with the toad's armor. The staff he wields has grown in size, and an Apothecary Gary-inspired glowing blue mushroom is perched atop it.

I wrapped things up with Sora's newt design. At first, I intended to keep him in human form, but consider what would happen if Anne, Sasha, and Marcy believed they were joined in Amphibia by another person. The story's main theme and the girls' close friendship might be seriously harmed by that. Thus, I transformed him into a newt. General Yunan, Tritonio Espada, Marcy, and a few other series characters with human bodies served as my inspiration for his body. Since the majority of newts are either wearing robes, dresses, or armor, his outfit is based on his design from Kingdom Hearts 3. I think I did an error on Sora’s design since all the newts have light underbellies.
