i like how its body kinda looks like an egg very cool :3
my only problem i see is that its tail technically would make it swim faster and more efficiently so why would it leave that when it evolves? now i realize its Pokemon so you can have whatever you want plus its yours not mine but i think in a natural evolution it would grow from a small tail to a larger one to one more like what you have hear but it doesn't matter ^^' its very cute i like it 
btw idk if you mind if i criticize. i don't mean to be mean and its not like your pokemon are bad cuz they are far from that but i like to state my opinions online and in real life but if you don't want me to i can stop i don't mind either way :/

its good to get constructive criticism so don't stop, as for why it has a tail i decided that it wouldn't be the strongest of swimmers so it could use all the speed it can get and it looses the tail when it evolves because its faster as a Lapras anyway

That is true. The speed of boats is measured more by their size, so the same principle could quite possibly be applied to Lapras and Lapling.
As far as the tail is concerned, it wouldn't give Lapling greater speed, but agility, which is vastly different.

My first impression, from the tail, was that it was a baby form of Lugia.
I didn't get that it was a baby Lapras until I read the comment.
