Description
Incineroar, the Heel Pokémon. A Fire and Dark type, and and Litten's final evolved form. Incineroar is capable of shooting fire from its midsection. A circle of fire wraps around its hips like a belt.
HistoryKukui revealed that he had Incineroar ever since he befriended it as a Litten when he was five years old, and that it originally belonged to his parents.
Incineroar was first seen on television at the Battle Royal Dome alongside the Masked Royal. They had successfully won nineteen battles and were aiming to win their twentieth. They won by defeating a Machamp, Primarina, and a Decidueye that belonged to three Battle Royal Trainers. After the match, the Masked Royal invited people to take part in a battle tomorrow. The next day, the Masked Royal and Incineroar took the stage, where it was approached by Ash's Litten, who'd taken an interest in Incineroar. Ash apologized for interrupting and was invited to take part in a match alongside Kiawe and Sophocles. Incineroar went up against Litten, Marowak, and Charjabug. After withstanding several attacks, it attacked all three with Darkest Lariat, defeating Marowak and Charjabug. The battle continued against Litten, but it was eventually defeated.
The next day, Professor Kukui, after seeing Ash and Litten training to use Flame Charge, showed up as the Masked Royal with Incineroar. They had a battle where Litten struggled to use Flame Charge, before evolving into Torracat. The battle continued but despite Torracat mastering Flame Charge, Incineroar came out victorious. After the match, the Masked Royal declared Incineroar and Torracat rivals.
Incineroar took part in a battle against Mr. Electric and his Electivire. Despite Mr. Electric cheating, Incineroar held its own until it was attacked by Mad Magmar's Magmortar, resulting in Mr. Electric's disqualification. The Masked Royal and Incineroar were then challenged to another match by Mad Magmar the following day. The next day, they got to the ring just in time, but before the match could begin, Incineroar found itself under attack by the Revengers' Poliwrath, Alolan Muk, and Alolan Golem. Annoyed by their cheating, Ash and Torracat teamed up with the Masked Royal and Incineroar but were confronted by Viren, the leader of the Revengers. Viren planned to buy the Battle Royal Dome for it to become a part of the Rainbow Happy Resorts. A tag battle ensued with Ash and Masked Royal going up against Mr. Electric and Mad Magmar and their Electivire and Magmortar. Despite more foul play from the Revengers, the Masked Royal and Ash came out on top. Viren, not willing to give up just yet sent out his Pangoro but a combo move from Incineroar and Torracat sent them flying.
Kukui was forced to sent it out to battle Gozu, as his and Faba's Pokémon had been defeated. It swiftly defeated Gozu's Mega Aggron with Malicious Moonsault, but this also unveiled Kukui's secret identity to Faba. Afterwards, it joined the rest of Alola in showering Necrozma with Z-Power so it could return to its true form.
Incineroar was seen defeating Mad Magmar's Magmortar at the Battle Royale Dome. The next day, at the Melemele Shopping Mall, Incineroar took part in a demonstration and met up with its fans as a part the Masked Royal's meet-and-greet tour. It was later lent to Molayne, who had agreed to fill in for Kukui, so he could meet up with Burnet and Ash. However, its Poké Ball was taken by James and Faba, who had mistaken Molayne for an impostor. When Mad Magmar arrived to seek revenge, Incineroar was sent out by Faba, who had taken on the role of Masked Royal. It took on Mad Magmar and his Magmortar again, only to fail under Faba's command. Once Kukui reprised his role as the Masked Royal, Incineroar easily defeated Magmortar with Malicious Moonsault.
Incineroar, when it was a Litten, encountered Ash and Torracat when they were accidentally sent back in time by a Celebi. At Kukui's request, Ash and Torracat performed Inferno Overdrive using Kukui's Firium Z. Kukui and Ash proceeded to have a battle, with Torracat going easy with its attacks, which Kukui didn't want, and Litten was soon defeated. Later, they took shelter from the rain underneath a Totem Trevenant, which Kukui had previously befriended when Litten Scratched it to stop it from sneezing. Trevenant kept sneezing, and after some closer examination, a large group of Cutiefly were found stuck in its head, which Litten and Torracat proceeded to free. After Trevenant awarded Ash a Firium Z of his own, Ash and Torracat were sent back to the present day.
Incineroar was later seen in videos advertising the upcoming Manalo Conference, where the winner would have an exhibition match with the Masked Royal.
Incineroar was the first Pokémon used in Kukui's Full Battle against Ash, the winner of the Manalo Conference. Incineroar first went up against Torracat, but Torracat was eventually recalled in favor of Lycanroc. Lycanroc was able to deal some damage to Incineroar before Kukui recalled it and sent out Braviary to replace it.
Incineroar was sent out to battle Melmetal, which had just defeated Kukui's Empoleon. With its formidable strength, Incineroar was able to stop Melmetal's Double Iron Bash in its tracks and pull the Mythical Pokémon right in front of itself, allowing it to defeat it with a close-range, super-effective Blast Burn before being recalled again.
Kukui once again sent Incineroar out to face Torracat. The two Fire types exchanged attack after attack, and the more damage they took, the brighter their fires burned. Both sides eventually launched a simultaneous Inferno Overdrive, which collided in the middle of the battlefield, creating a massive fireball. Torracat and Incineroar both dove into the fireball for one more exchange of blows, with Incineroar using Throat Chop and Torracat using Revenge. After the clash, the two stared each other down for a few tense moments before Incineroar finally fainted, marking Torracat's first proper victory over its rival. Immediately afterwards, Torracat proceeded to evolve into an Incineroar itself, only to expend its last remaining energy into the evolution process and become unable to continue battling as well, shocking its rival after standing up.
Personality and characteristicsIncineroar is a tough Pokémon, managing to withstand several attacks at once, and even being able to defeat several Pokémon with a single move. It is charismatic as well, easily winning over a crowd with its powerful and elegant moves. Incineroar's strength was shown once again in Securing the Future!, where it was able to defeat Gozu's Mega Aggron, a Pokémon that had just defeated three other Pokémon with a single move. Because of its experience in Battle Royals, Incineroar is extremely aware in battle and difficult to catch off guard, able to keep an eye on three opponents at once. This experience gave it an advantage, where it was able to keep up with Torracat's Flame Charge after raising its speed to its limits.
Despite its tough personality, Incineroar has a gentler side. When it allowed two children to hang onto its arms. It also felt bad for making a child cry and falling on top of Faba. Like the Masked Royal, Incineroar is a fighter and an entertainer, and is often seen posing with its Trainer while he addresses the crowd. Incineroar treats weaker opponents like Torracat with respect, but puts everything it has into each bout.
Moves usedDarkest Lariat †: Both of Incineroar's hands become covered in yellow-orange fire. It then starts spinning rapidly while holding out its hands, spinning into the opponent.
Bulk Up †: Incineroar flexes its body and a flame from its fire belt travels upwards over its torso, causing its muscles to thicken.
Throat Chop †: One of Incineroar's hands glow purple. It then chops the opponent with the side of its hand.

Blast Burn †: Incineroar forms a big ball of red-orange fire in front of its fire belt, and then launches a giant red-orange flame from it at the opponent. After using the move, smoke comes out from Incineroar's belt, and it is unable to move for a short time.
A † shows that the move was used recently, unless all moves fit this case or there are fewer than five known moves.
Z-Moves usedMalicious Moonsault: Incineroar strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power. Its body then becomes surrounded in yellow-orange fire and it jumps into the air, landing chest-first onto the opponent and causing a big explosion.
Inferno Overdrive: Incineroar strikes a series of synchronized poses with its Trainer to build Z-Power. It then creates a large ball of fire in front of its hands and then raises the ball above its head as it grows bigger. Incineroar then throws it with one of its hands and sends it flying towards the opponent.
