Description

Nidoking have broad shoulders and a muscular sloping neck that is reinforced with heavy bone to help them bear the impact of thrashing into rivals. Their crested necks and horn have small poison glands at the base. Males have large tusks that grow from their lower jaws and are exposed even with the mouth closed. The long whip-like tails can also deal damage. The armored plating covering Nidoking makes it nearly impenetrable.

Nidoqueen have rounder, softer faces than Nidoking. Their horns are also significantly smaller and they lack the musculature along their neck and shoulders that the males have. Females are not as tall as the males, but their length and average weight are very similar. Females have proportionally larger ears and tend to be more cautious than males, though more aggressive if they have young.

Two informal pieces I just wanted to test out.

I really wanted to make them more dinosaur looking but alas. I need to draw different species.

There's this one guy I see at every convention and I don't know his name. He has a marvelous beard and always buys something from me, though his favorite is Nidoking and I don't have one available at my booth. This is for him. I also do not have purple pencils. I used my Dad's Venus Spectracolor color pencils that he gave to me... these things are older than me xD discontinued in 1990 or something.
