Small watercolor of a Golden eyed Suicune in the forest. And of course, no painting of the forest would be complete without a few rabbit Nidoran grazing.
And Do As Infinity's "Fukai Mori" plays in my head when I see this. Reminiscent of my Inuyasha obsessed days.
Reminds me of Bambi!

I just really like drawing deer and think Suicune's ability to purify water is like a unicorn. So I make it like an oriental kirin. That's more fun if you ask me

Beautiful interpretation. Usually I see drawings of suicune as a canine, but this fits so well. It looks like he's watching over the little nidoran.

Weird, yeah? Well, they called it the "Legendary Beast Trio" in the Japanese game. I think Raikou was a tiger, and Entei was like the Chinese lion thingies... Shisa or some other which was a cross between a lion and a dog in Asian culture -they were just guardian spirits. And following that trend, Suicune was a kirin to me because of its ability to purify water and its calm demeanor since Kirin are basically asian unicorns.

Haha, the same thing happened to me! I didn't finish the series because they stopped airing on Adult swim and I just got distracted by other things, but I finally finished last year! Though I probably should have watched it in the original Japanese, as the new english voices were really annoying lol.
