I love Gardevoir for its elegance, beauty and pure heart, as well as being a strong Psychic/Fairy-type PokΓ©mon.
In Shield, one of my most used pokemon for Max Raid Battles is a female Gardevoir I named Galadriel, which is a pretty fitting name as the LOTR character is also dubbed "Lady of Light"

The Japanese translation is misleading, actually (sourcing directly off the japanese Anime.) But yes, Gardevoir isn't based on a knight.

Gardevoir... she's one of my most useful pokΓ©mon when i play the PokΓ©mon games, in Pearl & Diamond i REALLY MISS HER... !!! At least in PokΓ©mon Red Fire are Jynx wich is extremely powerful, the only bad thing 'bout her & Gardevoir is their low physical defense. Maybe Alakazam is a good pokΓ©mon, but... you have to trade him to have access his real stats and evolution wich is a bad point... and i don't do mention to his defenses... really low defenses.
Anyway, TRULY IMPRESSIVE ART, just as Gardevoir deserves,
