A younger Delia and Sammy Oak chillin. (yo)
Ok ok. I know, I know. This isn't exactly what you asked for. I was going to draw them chilling when Ash is out, but I totally forgot when I drew the initial sketch... Then I kept drawing it, then I finished it... even though it's them when they were younger. I hope this is alright though! D:
There are a few mistakes, I'll try to fix them soon. (but now, bed!)
EDIT: Alright, I've fixed some things for now, but I may do more.

Personally, I think they do love each other, but in more of a daddy-daughter way. Now there's a twist for you, maybe Delia is actually Oak's daughter. (Please don't shoot me.)

Wait... Ash's dad was never revealed but was said to have explored a lot of the land and such, and would be proud to see him as the fine trainer he is...
Oak used to travel as a trainer just like how Ash's dad did and has, plenty of times, told ash how he's proud of how he became such a fine trainer...
Oak must be Ash's dad (explains the hair), but never told him because Delia and Oak were probably under the influence of something or she was in a depressed mood and flipped them into bed and were ashamed of what they did. Now canon. Cannot reject.

Joseph Joestar had a daughter named Mary and she had a child named Jotaro. After the elderly Joseph and the 17yo Jotaro killed the immortal vampire who threatened their bloodline, they returned to Japan before Joseph went home to the US. Turns out while they were celebrating, Joseph did it with someone other than his wife, so 15 years later Part 4 happens and Josuke Higashikata is Jotaro's 15 year old uncle with Jotaro already being a husband and father of a toddler by then.

Excellent work! You can really sense the chemistry between the two, whether they be friends or lovers. The detail is exquisite with its light but smooth colors that paint a very welcoming visual.
I love the younger look for Samuel! In fact, I'm going to be writing a story about Samuel's past on Fanfiction.net. Any chance I could use a close-up of your design as my cover image for the story? I'd credit you, of course.
