the ugly things that came to my mind...i just wanted to draw something ugly and deformed because im feeling very miserable.
I noticed i made an error in the title, "Bon debarras"
( et bien tampis on va faire semblant que je l'ai fait expres ok? )

Beautiful and bloody! It's wonderful!! I love the use of several different colors and tints for the shading, and also what seems like blood framing the whole piece...Wicked!!

I wouldn't go with the description beautiful, but "rapturously horrifying" does come to mind.
It's frightening and yet curiously alluring, not unlike a darkened alleyway, or an abandoned building.

i like the less traditonal composistion,though your whole gallery was fun to look at. you should check out the research comparing creativity and mood disorders.... do we want to be happy and uncreative or be passionate and tortured.(paraphrased)...only a generalization ofcourse there are always exceptions

i really love this, you certainly suceeded in creating something deformed it is truly that!! i really like the colours, the uber brightness of them compliments the 'dark' nature of the picture in a sort of contradictory way... which is cool... i love that skul especially but the whole thing is uber special.. would love something like this for my wall x

Amazing how something so stunning can come from misery. This pic is beautiful in spite of (or perhaps because of) the disturbing imagery. I must fave this.
Is it just me, or are the starved infant and the female figure like a decrepid Madonna/Holy Child duo? That would add a lot to the meaning of the painting, if that's the case. The halo-like design around the infant's head makes me think of that.

yep, you are right about the madonna. I did the whole drawing very impulsively, so im sure that there must be a meaning hidden somewhere. I havent thought about it too much, and your the first person to mention it.

Makes me think of German Expressionism. I love the deformed and grotesque appearance of each figure. The colours are like the refelction of neon lights, or perhaps Absinthe and blood. Lovely work! I really like this one.

There is a bit of info online. Also, movies like Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari were part of ther German Expressionist movement. They made things looks gortesque, beauty was not the goal.
