This is a beautiful shot. It's very peaceful as you say, it looks like a place I'd like to be. It's a very interesting composition. I love the way the horizontal lines of the big branch and the dam work with the verticals of the trees and their reflection, they seem to break the picture into segments, and the walkway's snake-like curve is picked up and continued be the bend of the creek. This piece is soothing, pretty, and engaging to the eye.

This place is in a small town like 20 minutes away from me. It's so beautiful in its simplicity. It even has a bubbling spring, with water so crystal clear you kind of want to take a bath in it, but don't because you don't want to contaminate its pristineness. hahaha. it's gorgeous! I guess I just look around. If I find something interesting, I go for it.
