He's quite small, even for a young adolescent, and it seems like he'll stay that way even into adulthood. He has a dark pelt, much like a Timber wolf. In his physical appearance his one floppy ear is his most notable feature, with his short muzzle and large ears also fairly notable. Both ears are floppy to some extent, but only slightly

Aubin is quite calm for a young wolf. He enjoys sitting quietly with older wolves, but is witty enough to hang out and be comfortable with rowdy and loud wolves his age. He's able to adapt and accommodate for those around him, whether its personality differences or religion, he is known to be approachable and understanding and will likely remain the same through adulthood. He understands the importance of belief and culture, without experiencing it himself.

While most would consider protective to be a good trait, Aubin can take it a little too far. He's loyal till death and would easily run into trouble to protect those he loves. He's low-maintenance when it comes to requests and is easy to take care of because he isn't finicky or specific. Along with his witty trait, he's also competitive. These two things together can get him into some serious competitions that he usually loses. While he is competitive, he’s able to use this to do team built competitions to work on becoming a team player like the rest of his pack.

Aubin tends to be a little naive and unbelieving. He doesn't believe in any religions, but enjoys hearing about them nonetheless. You can almost always tell what Aubin is thinking, good or bad, but he tends to only have good opinions of others as Na”em is a friendly pack, but doesn’t have too good impressions of the other packs.

Overall Aubin is fairly balanced, though he has his bad traits like everyone. As he grows his traits will develop. While his Naïve personality causes him to only see the good in others, as he experiences more he’ll begin to understand more as well. He’s starting to develop a sense of teamwork, rather than competition, but he still has a long way to go. Aubin is very curious about Na”emmai’s main beliefs, and may even start believing in some himself, depending on how they’re introduced to him.

:: H I S T O R Y ::

Pre-Group History:

Aubin’s parents were loners. They grew up in close territories without ever meeting. Ally didn’t have any siblings, while Nikolas was one of four pups. They came across each other as juveniles and spent a few hours talking. They went their separate ways, back to their dens, and didn’t see each other again for a few more months. Nikolas had fallen for her the second time they met, and they would meet every few weeks afterward. They were almost young adults, and Ally had been working on living on her own, as her parents were not interested in forming a pack or staying with their daughter while she was an adult because of their religion and culture it was customary that any pups go on their own journey before they reach adulthood. Nikolas’ parents on the other hand were planning on forming a pack and gathering more wolves for it. Nikolas wasn’t interested, and when he and Ally were young adults he entered Ally’s territory to find her and ask to become mates. She accepted and they ran off to find their own territory.
They found a small den, big enough for four fully grown wolves, and claimed a small amount of land around it. They scouted the territory, making sure there was enough prey coming through for them to survive, and returned to their new den to make it more like home. Covering the entrance with ivy by pulling it over, careful not to break them apart so they would continue growing. Building a nest out of leaves, ivy and fur and getting rid of any sharp stones so it wasn’t dangerous. After they made their den, they decided to have pups.
Aubin was born in a litter of four with one older sister, and two younger sisters. Ally taught them all manners and told them stories of her old family and their religion. Teaching her pups that religion was okay, but she didn’t teach them to be religious themselves. Their father taught them about life and to be respectful.
Aubin became the storyteller of the group, as well as the most interested in herbs. His older sister took it upon herself to learn and teach Aubin about medicines she'd found, while his younger sisters would constantly ask for stories or play fight. He was always competing to be better than his siblings at everything.
While play fighting, one of his sisters bit his already somewhat floppy ear and cracked the cartilage within, causing it to be more folded/floppy. Aubin didn’t care much that his ear was now floppy. But he did start taking play fight more seriously, without trying to hurt his siblings.

One day, while Nikolas was teaching his pups to hunt, Aubin got separated from his family by a herd of boar. The pup, unsure how to deal with boar, had fled and hoped to wait till his family found him. When there was no sign of them, he tried to find them himself but only wandered farther from his old home. He later found by humans and taken to the sanctuary. He wandered the new land, struggling with scraps for food, and usually sleeping with only the shelter of trees. While wandering he came across the Na”em pack, and they brought the skinny adolescent to their home to get better and regain weight. He was told about songs, and some seemed worried that he didn’t have one. So he worked hard to find a song. Hiding out to discover his song. Eventually he found it, and brought his newfound song to the rest of the pack. While his song was a simple one, he was happy to have found it. He decided he would do his best to stay within the pack, taking every minute to learn about them.
