He nearly gave me an existential crisis because I was so torn between adding the blue/purple colouring on his mane or keeping it like this.
I experimented with both his foal design and this reference, and I loved both versions so much. In the end I decided to keep his mane white because it goes better with his role/personality, but seriously. I might "dye" his mane from time to time when drawing him because it looked so pretty too
