Description
Anakin isn’t haven't’ nightmares about Padme, he’s having nightmares about himself. Each night he’s pulled into a pit of fire, flames licking his skin as he watches himself kill hundreds of people. Every night he endures the pain on his body, endures the pain of his ruthless carnage, and then every morning tries to live life like normally.
But it’s too much to ignore, especially when the darkness in his dreams is seeping into his personality in the waking world. Moments where he would be swayed into an angry fit are instead met with a cool, deadly calm. His fighting style, while already aggressive, becomes ruthless and efficient.
Anakin is afraid of completely becoming this monster, but he cannot let the nightmares stop, as inside their hellish depths, visions of the future hide. One especially, where his long time confidant Palpatine is revealed to be the Sith Lord.
The anger that pulses in Anakin’s veins is indescribable, and he’s damn sure he isn’t going to let the man turn his nightmares into reality, no matter what.
