Well, okay, but the questions were really for the Dataspace. I started writing a script for an episode where I would explain the answers to a number of small questions about the series.

Well, I can help you with that for free cause I do have one question: Hearts come from Kingdom Hearts... Keyblades connect with the hearts of their masters. So, do keyblades come from Kingdom Hearts as well? Are they forged? Who forged them?

I think that keyblades are actually alive. Think about how they always return to their masters, and when Roxas was in the virtual Twilight Town, chasing the Nobody. The keyblade acted like it wanted to fight it.

True. But hearts connect with the hearts of those they meet. And Xehanort said that the keyblades in the graveyard were once connected to the hearts of their masters. Ergo, they must have hearts.

Makes sense, but In Xehanorts secret reports, he said that there are three kinds of Keyblades. One kind made from light, another made from darkness, and the third made from the hearts of people. Do you suppose the first keyblade wielders who made their weaopns in the image of the X-blade, made the weapons from sacrificed hearts.Β
I mean the Keyblade of people's hearts that Sora sacrificed himself with was made of the princesses hearts, and Ven's heart made the X-blade! So are Keyblades themselves weapon shaped hearts?

I don't know if I like that idea. I prefer the idea that there of naturally made keyblades, which there are more of, and then there are artificial ones like the keyblade of peoples' hearts. As for the x-blade, it might be a combination of the two types.

I'm thinking they're made by Kingdom Hearts for the purpose of defending it. Kind of like a king arming his knights.

That's actually not the case. In Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, Yen Sid told Riku and Sora the story about the Keyblade war and explained that the peoples greed was so pure that they made Keyblades with which to wage war for Kingdom Hearts. It's counterpart, the original X-blade defended it by locking the door to it's eternal light before it was shattered into twenty pieces.Β
