well, I'm with you on Falk and Erandur, but you can keep Tullius (he's an unrepentant ass, in this Stormcloak's opinion. I have no idea what my husband did to my pc game, but my first run through, Erandur proposed the second I put on the amulet. I didn't look no further. So, of  course, restart game he forgets to propose ><

Why is it that most people aren't happy to marry a mute protagonist of questionable moral who knows how to kill people with a variety of weapons, is able to set things on fire, is regularly attacked by dragons at random times, possesses a voice that can throw bystanders several feet away and may or may not have a penchent for kleptomania?

The population of Skyrim is so picky, I tell you. Maybe NPCs need more character depth.

I have a soft spot for Erandur, myself. He's my follower, and can say the same line over and over again and it still gives me the giggles. I love whoever the voice actor is. But I can see why he wouldn't be "marriage material", because he just haaad to be a priest...

As much as I like the game, for a truly well-rounded experience, they could have put more work into letting you have a marriage and have pleasant non-quest interactions with characters.

Personally, I can live with the non-plot relevant characters being the only options.

I have yet to truly marry anyone other than Moth gro-Bagol. Tried marrying Angrenor Once-Honored, but it really bugged me that he was still wearing his rags after we started living together (tried reverse pickpocketing some nicer clothing into his inventory, didn't work), so reloaded to before I proposed to him.

What bugs me is the limited interaction you have with the love interests or even your spouse. The ingame excuse they gave for the lack of courtship is understandable. But I would like to give my spouse gifts or hug/kiss/say "I love you" to them when I make my trips home, at the very least.
