From now on I guess I'll just go with my own theory about Feraligatr and Typhlosion saving the day by using some sort of finishing move from a mecha anime. Either that or Celebi suffered severe burns from Ho-Oh flaming him and that's why he's all nice and red.
I'm not gonna ask if the following true or anything, but just 'cause I feel like stating my theories. Maybe the one who used Nightmare on Gold near the end isn't actually Hurry, but the Houndoom instead because it ends up leading Gold to his inevitable doom.
Gold uses the power of Celebi to travel into the future, in hopes of getting a stronger Ho-Oh. It proves too much for Celebi to handle, and as punishment for the acts he did with his Houndoom (whatever they may be), Ho-Oh kills Gold and Celebi with Sacred Fire (IMO it's implied Ho-Oh kills them, should be obvious)
As for the Unown battle at the end, I'm just gonna assume they'll spell out "TROLLD", "THEEND", or whatever. I really have no clue.

Well honestly I don't think anything in the game is actually HAPPENING. It's all a representatin, and analogy, for reality. Celebi represents time, the loss of limbs is an anaolgy for being restricted, they all mean things, but noone of it is real. Like a poignant nightmare.
