Description

The old coastal house had been abandoned for decades. It was originally built as a large family home, but after the original owners passed on, no one in the small town could afford to buy it. Eventually it was purchased as a business venture, as a charming hotel overlooking the ocean. No one could remember how it came to be abandoned. There were stories that a couple was murdered one night while staying there as guests. That was over 40 years ago, and the details were all but forgotten. In any case, it was considered cursed, and all stayed away except for an occasional few naughty youths who took pleasure in throwing rocks through the windows. But they dared not venture inside. Some spoke of strange goings on, voices, screams. This is how the rumors started that the place was haunted. No one dared get close for many years. One night, a light shone in the front bay window. Who would dare investigate?
