I do agree with you that metroid did need another game under their belt. It's been so long since other M and even that game people didn't think it counted

I actually loved Other M. The only thing that really killed it for people I think would be some of the cut scenes where you looked around not knowing what to do. It was pretty easy after the first time for me, but I think that was the biggest complaint. I think what we thought killed Metroid for good was Federation Force. A spin off title was a bad idea after five years of no games or any signs of a new metroid. (plus it sucked, i wanted to like it, but facing the truth, it just sucked)

Yea, she was pretty much just a edge lord before that when you think about it. Just, without all goth and bloody clothes.
