Derpy Hooves lives in Ponyville, a town where amazing things happen every day. She sees her friends, the Mane Six, go on exciting adventures, save the world, and have fun. She sees other ponies do incredible things, like flying fast, casting magic, or designing new dresses. Derpy sees the town change and grow, with new places, events, and celebrations.

Sometimes she is clumsy, and well... Derpy.

But that doesn't mean that Derpy is not important or special. Derpy has a unique personality and appearance. She always has a smile on her face and a muffin in her hooves. She has great friends that love her for being that way. Derpy is loved by many, not just by other ponys but also from us. Some people feel like being a background pony themselves sometimes, but Derpy Hooves is not a background pony. She is a foreground pony. And they might be too!
