There's a dangerously lacking amount of badass gardevoir pics...Just practicing some shading, and I gotta say, I'm very proud of this picture.
I tried to do shading without using the fancy water-color like affects and use more flat techniques. Before I started, I didn't know who to use, then my gardevoir, Mel, popped in my head. Plus, I haven't drawn any pokemans in a looonnnggg time.

Hnnng I've been looking for a badass Gardevoir drawing for only forever. They're kinda really my favorite Pokemon but I also tend to think cutesy stuff is crap because mejdnskx I'm a weird person.

Yeah I know that feel. (Especially cause I don't do the solid color shading. Mine is always like, gradient >u< )
What intrigues me in this specifically is that even though you used a female gender (as most Gardevoirs are considered), at the same time you gave her a more masculine-ish look. Definitely different than most fan art, and definitely awesome (not to mention her eye & eye glows. She looks PIIIIIIISSED xDD)

You're the first person to point it out. Ironically enough, someone mistook her gender for being male. It's always been vice versa in gardevoirs case.. XD
It's not easy to come across a gardevoir pic without the pokemon having breasts XD I've always been annoyed by that, how people totally fan-service this thing.
I've always viewed gardevoirs (particularly my gardevoir) as more dignified and stern of a pokemon, and it's closer to the original source.
The pokedex has always mentioned that these are serious beings that protect their trainer with their lives!
