Personality:
Oubliette is pretty sure that they're a failure. A fluke. Their mother never said that she was disappointed in them but they feel like she'd like to sometimes. They're the dragon-foal of the herd leader! They're supposed to be something majestic, something powerful! Someone who can carry on the bloodline proudly. Drake got neither. Vanessa has no real close relationship with their dad; she was just impressed with his genetics and decided that he was a worthy stud.
Since their mother is generally a loner they too have been kept away from most of the world. This has caused Oubliette to lack social grace; they often get anxious and stutter/blush around new horses or when attention is given to them. They shy away from loud occasions often. Too many horses make them tired after awhile. They're an absolute mess of anxiety! However, when it counts they do know when to be brave. They'll stand up for those being bullied in their own cowering but determined way. Adults, foals, it doesn't matter; it makes them upset to see anyone under duress from someone else. Herds are supposed to work together in unity, not tear each other apart!
When not forced into the herd Oubliette enjoys being with their mother and step-father. Quiet horses are pleasant to be around since words aren't needed. They've inherited a lot of Vanessa's wolf-like qualities like the fangs and mentality. Every so often this will conflict with their dragon tendencies...part of them wants to collect shiny things while the other says no. The only time they don't feel like a fluke is when they successfully help their family ambush prey. Being focused on the hunt helps their brain smooth out any nervous wrinkles.
Along with being slightly klutzy and a babbling mess Oubliette is helplessly romantic in a dreamy way. Their heart falls too hard too fast, and they have a bad habit of crushing on their friends. Since they are terrible at socializing they get mixed signals and ultimately set their heart up for failure. It takes awhile for them to talk themself out of a crush.
They are chronically scared of their half-dragon siblings. Their main concern is that they'll deem them not worthy of existing and ganging up on them to eliminate the weakling. Oubliette also has the sinking suspicion that they also have a dragon form, but is too scared to try it out. What if they lose a bit of themself?! What if they hurt someone? To avoid accidents they pretend that it doesn't exist.
All in all they're a chronically introverted over-thinker, mind moving too fast over everything. This is useful when hunting but otherwise a major obstacle when trying to form relationships outside of their family. They want friends though, even if it's scary. Most of all they want the herd's acceptance!
Oubliette could choose which gender to be considered...yet since both the male and female bits are completely worthless (they just know it...always have) they decided to not decide after all. What's the point of faking something you're not? It is a weak spot for them and flinch every time it's mentioned.
