Prehnite is the former master of Minty Pearl.

As stated in Minty's bio, she is an egomaniac. She is the closest thing to a celebrity Homeworld has other than the diamonds, functioning as a news reporter. Her pearl ran away with Steven and Lars during the trial, which she was reporting on. She was emotionally and verbally abusive to minty. Despite having the essences of White, Yellow and Blue, she generally answers to White. She appears on TV as kind, charming and trustworthy but the minute the broadcast ends that changes. She's kinda like "mom" from Futurama in a sense. There is only one Prehnite, unless you count how two faced she is. During era 3 it comes out what a jerk she is and she loses her status and job. instead of realizing what a diva she was, she decides to blame Steven and her former pearl.

Prehnite: *on camera* And remember, each and every gem is important to expanding the diamond empire! Remember, without the support of gems like you, the empire would collapse! I look forward to seeing you again for the next broadcast! *blows kiss* 💕

Minty: WE'RE CLEAR! The broadcast is off, your clarity!

Prehnite: Those useless clods repulse me! Every last one of them! Pearl, can you believe millions of gems swallow this idiotic nonsense?! They're almost as dull as you!

Minty: *mutters* one of these days I'm going to leave the camera on and tell you it's off. Then we'll see who's dull.

Prehnite: Pardon?

Minty: Nothing, your clarity!

Prehnite: Good. I would hate to have to teach a new Pearl how to operate the broadcast. It would be a huge inconvenience on me.
