I am mostly a Zelink kinda person just to throw that out there and I've always though Ganon and Zelda would have an interesting relationship if that just sat down and actually talked.
(Ganon is awesome and misunderstood. He is no pig. XP)

zelda was nice to him, but she didn't necessarily love him.
ever since, ganon's been scheming to steal zelda's wisdom triangle..
so she could be stupid enough to fall for him.
forseeing this, zelda used her womaly wiles on link,
tricking him into forever devotion to her.

navi knew that zelda was just using him, so navi would always try and get link's attention to tell him this important information. but every time she would say "Hey!" or "Listen!" link would just swat her away..
....
