Description
Heir to the throne, hes not....well lets just say he's glad that he's not the first in line. His older brother Regal Sun is actually first in line. Still, due to being a prince, he has duties to attend to, and he chooses to either ignore them or simply pretend he is no prince.

He hates being royal, and will often times use his magic to disguise himself as a regular citizen and go do what normal ponies do. However any pony with strong magic can sense the overflowing magic from him and pinpoint him out as an alicorn in disguise.

He will eventually grow a spine and do his duties, find someone and have a cute lil filly: little princess (duchess I guess would be the more accurate term) Summer Sun. After his husband dies, he finds another mate and they go on to have 3 more children: Golden Rays, Solar Rings and Aurora Dawn.

In terms of attitude, Sunset is an asshole. Unless you are close to him, in which case he is blunt, but does care. He hates when others are right, but will fight to the death to protect those he loves.

His parents are Queen Celestia and King ( Reformed ) Sombra.

EDIT 11/2023:
Like with his older bro, I didnt feel that his original and my way of drawing him felt right so I changed him. Again. NOW I think hes finally ok. BEHOLD the final Rightful Sunset, child of Celestia and Sombra! Truthfully, I just wanted his mane to be stripes like his mama and not...weeellll, blended. I feel that while blended is gorgeous, its not right for my au.
