Description
The Pony Gang are a team of talking, super-powered ponies from the magical city of Pony Land. Their job is to protect the city from darkness and the forces of evil. Tomby Noteworthy and his friends were just ordinary ponies, living everyday lives, doing magic and hanging out together. Until one day, when they visited a museum to learn about the Pony Guardians of Pony Land, they were attacked by De-Mos and accidently wrecked the Pony Jewel display. After they fixed it, they went to put the Pony Jewels back where they belong. But when they picked them up, they glowed so bright before they turned into necklaces and attaches themselves to their necks.

When that happened, the jewels transforms the gang into Pon Warriors. They also discover that the jewels has given them powers. Turns out that every 75 years, new warriors will be chosen to fight the De-Mos. Many years ago, Pony Land was always under attack by the De-Mos, banks getting robbed, hearts getting corrupted by darkness and the city getting plunged into darkness. So, Queen Solaris, the ruler of Pony Land, uses the power of the pony jewels to stop the De-Mos, but that wasn't enough, so instead, she used a powerful ritual to create the Pony Guardians.

Together, they fought against the De-Mos, protecting the city and saving all ponies. Unfortunately, in the year 1901, during a battle with Piqua and his army, they were blasted by one of the Piqua's minions and disintegrated to death. For the past 122 years, there was no pony to protect Pony Land. The police were helpless against the De-Mos, the government was proved to useless and the Queen's guards weren't much help at all. So, in honor of the now deceased Pony Guardians, the Queen ordered someone to put the Pony Jewels on display at the Pony City Museum until they find new warriors.

But since the Pony Gang has got the Pony Jewels, they have been chosen to become the new guardians of Pony Land. With their new powers, the Pony Gang must battle the De-Mos and King Piqua, bring back the light to the whole city, keep the balance of hope, love and wisdom at bay and save the city from the forces of evil.

They are the herd that defends the city from darkness. The guardians of love and the light. The eight Pon Warrior that will shine to the next victory, They are... The Pony Gang!
