There isint really an exact size of papper I use, I just cut it until it looks right. XD
It took me forever to figure out how to make a crane and after several hours of watching YouTube videoes and crumpled peices of papper I finally got the hang of it 
As for how many I think I have around 100-300. The exact amount is unknown. As for all of the bottled ones there's about 70 in there last I counted.

Well, first I started out with one tiny peice of paper and I very carefully folded it into a crane, then I was so proud of it I made some more and put them all into one tiny bottle. I didint do it for anything specific. Just for fun really.

Wow. The smallest paper I could fold(I think, I've never actually tried to) is about an inch and a half or so.

i can only imagine how long it took to fold all those cranes! i have an obsession with these guys and once tried to see how small i could fold them... it's not easy! kudos!

it took me a month or so to do all of e'm ^_^ it wasint easy at first, but i got the hang of it.

Ummm, idk, i kinda just cut the paper into really small squares. there are like 40 or 50 cranes in there.
