I'm so excited for this piece, oh my goodie goodness. I love it so much! I could die of happiness.

I have to give you huge credit here. I don't know how you did it. Gidgert was never meant to like men. He started out as a man made to be Ranki's husband, but that didn't feel right. Despite this, he was still straight, but some how, some way, Jihadi has made it into his heart, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Moving on to the art on this, I have a real love for the way it was done. Not only is your style gorgeous, you lucky little thing you, but you've executed this in a wonderful way. I didn't even notice until now that it said "Life Line", but I think this was a wonderful touch!

The only issues I have with this are on the part of the techniques you used. You still have the common problem of those durn sketchy lines in your coloring. I hate those. They are my greatest enemy. To minimize them, I suggest, as always, to use a blender, but perhaps try different brands. What you're using may not be right for you. I work best with sharp prismacolors or dull rose arts layed on their side. Maybe what you're using isn't best for you. Try out different brands and techniques until you find what's best for you!

Also, The chin scruff looks a bit like it's patched on, not growing naturally, but that's not too big of a deal, is it? e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink) - "/> Keep up the beautiful art!

Do you think the sketchiness of the skin and hair help it to seem more hand drawn? Does that please you or give you a distaste in your mouth?

I actually really like the sketchiness in this piece! Definitely feels hand-drawn and thus feels a lot more personal to you. Their features are simply beautiful, almost too good for something hand-drawn, which adds a really complex contrast to the whole piece. Which is a good thing!
