Alright so, people have been curious as to what Belle looked like before she becme a doll... ^ This. This is Marie the pony Frozen Heart was in love with. He tried to bring her back to life.
She was always a very sweet mare and her wings were coveted by many a pegasus, but because of the way her feathers were more like down she couldn't fly very well. Her special talent was making dolls and toys for little foals. Foals were her joy in life, to make them happy was the greatest thing in the world. One unfortunate day a rouge storm blew into town that the pegasi could not control, there was lightning and harsh winds, Frozen had been watching with her as a small pegasus foal fell off a cloud due to the harsh storm, Marie didn't stay despite Frozen trying to stop her, she took off and caught the foal and was blown around by the torrent. And then, a lightning strike came from the cloud striking her in the back. She fell to earth, the foal safe in her wings, but the impact taking her life.
Annabelle doesn't have wings because Frozen didn't want to run the risk of her flying again. The love of foals shows through in Annabelle, but not the love for Frozen Heart. The irony is that Marie was the one to tell him of the spell that could bring somepony back in the form of a doll.
I think I'll try to make a short comic about this but I may get lazy and quit. I haven't decided.
