May 2016YES! I finally drew Fhantasya in a way that I like. ^_^ I added in her pseudodragon familiar Lust.
My wizard/cleric of Sharess (and my first D&D character from 25 years ago. O.o )
Edited to fix the foot.

She was actually my first D&D character I created back in '91. The group I was playing with needed a cleric and a mage, so I made a multi-class one. The GM went over the deities of Forgotten Realms to make a cleric of, and when he got to Sharess (the goddess of pleasure, lust, festhalls, etc) I thought it would be entertaining. lol

Omg, I almost FORGOT. I"m a BIG Dragonlance fan. I never got into the other D&D worlds, but I did that one. I started with The Elven Nations Trilogy and move onto Weis and Hickman's Dragon Chronicles series. And this was BEFORE I discovered Tolkien! And after that rpg fantasy to Tolkien was like a child's finger painting to a painting by Michelangelo or something lol. I still have a certain fondness for Dragonlance.
Do you read fantasy outside of rpg? Dennis McKiernan, although very much influenced by Tolkien, is pretty good. I used to spend a lot of time riding the bus to the library.

I used to read the Dragonriders of Pern when I was a teenager. I love Neil Gaiman, but he's more modern fantasy.

I could never get into Anne McCaffrey. Not sure if I spelled that right, too lazy at the moment--filled with pizza--to check. I'm lucky I currently have the energy to do some practice. But I am! Lol. I'm gonna work on the head construction of my Gunny cartoon character; I wanna be more precise in his head without the beard and be able to learn to draw his head/face in different viewpoints. I've been watching some vids, from that guy I mentioned on YouTube--Draw With Jazza--on drawing cartoon and comic style mouths and eyes, and I"m gonna try to draw the eye socket FIRST. I'm also gonna practice expressions.

Another artist once told me that after you get the base shape of the face, start with the eyes. Because the eyes are the windows to the soul and you want to get them right first thing.
