Small profile sheet of Thane. He's the co-leader with Kinktail, his mate, being the main leader of the Death Clan since a man is not allowed to lead(hence the alternate name, Hyena clan.)

He's a poster child of what goes on in the breeding this clan offers. Having ancestors that have wrestled mighty carnivores for millenia's have shaped them into unique, heavy-built Navi bred for pouncing and wrestling their heavier opponents to the ground. They have lightening fast reactions and are terrific sprinters. During a clan clash they have been seen to over-run their neighbors down. However, because of their hefty bodies, they can't hold high speeds at long distances.
When they were discovered by a scientist, they were discribed as being chunky blue monkeys and highly aggressive, especially the woman. Because of their current opinion of other clans, the are very wary of outsiders. Much caution is to be made if approaching them. Though it's nearly impossible thanks to a thick wall of predators that surround them.

Thane is a pretty tough fellow but a good-natured. Kinktail has molded him into a shorter-tempered, more upstandish mate later on. (She can't stand having a pussy shy guy as a mate).

He was recommended by Kinktail's nearest friends to be her future mate, thinking the both of them together would make some mighty nice kids. They start having kids right away but it does take several years until they do actually bond together.. Thane has much to learn from his mate, more than he ever learned in his training to be a man.
