Tryin something new.Im always tryin something new though, i guess.
I have been playing with robots a bit, drawing them differently.
If you look close, lots of these lines are curved, even lines that should be square.
It seems to lend better to my style of painting.
Im happy with this lil fella.
I am also playing with drippin acrylics, mixin water in, etc.
As opposed to using spraypaint all the time.

yeah, well.... the bolts n details on him are straight cad red med. hue.
And his head/body are red with just a touch of white.
Not enough to make it pink... but cad red medium with just a litttttle bit of white makes red pop a lil different.

Curving the lines definitely make the robot seem a little more personal and alive.

yea carl! this is groovy. i like the acrylic drips alittle more than the spray paint, but dont get me wrong, you have a very nice technique with the spray paints it seems pretty under control. but the drips are definately a nice change.
