King Sombra desu! ^- ^/a very promising start on the new season.
I wish we could've gotten to know Sombra better tho.
He was just there, bein evil, but we got to know like. Zero about him.

Apparently Sombra is much more likable in the comics, Hasbro just made it really easy to make fun of him in their tv show.

He was only on screen for less than 2 minutes! I like him anyways, but I wish they shown him more and added a bit more to his character. Based on the show, all I noticed about him was that he was evil and he liked Dark Magic and stairs.

I have a strong feeling Sombra is going to come back later in the season.
Why? Because season 3 started with their antagonist, which has never happened before.
The first 2 part episodes of Season 3 were more like the 2 part episodes of the season FINALE.
So if Sombra is already destroyed, than who is going to be the main antagonist at the ending?
So I have a strong feeling, we havn't seen the last of King Sombra.

Season 1 and 2 started with big two parters each featuring a villain who would not return later, Nightmare Moon and Discord. In season 2, it ended with a two parter featuring a different villain altogether from Discord.
That being said, I think Sombra should return, since I think there's a lot of potential with him. Plus, the upcoming episode, Magic Duel, is theorized by some to be an episode where Sombra or at least his influence will return since his horn is seen surviving his destruction and Trixie apparently has some dark new power, coming from an amulet that has a red gem in it, kind of like Sombra's horn.

I'd honestly want to see that just to see how the villains play off each other. I think they could have some funny interactions. And of course it'd be awesome to see the Mane 6 face all their major foes at once.

I saw that episode, but I don't think it has anything to do with Sombra's horn, seeing as the Alicorn Amulet seems to be old enough to gain enough notoriety to be mentioned in a book of magical artifacts. Of course the amulet could have been Sombra's pet project...or Nightmare Moon's...or some yet-to-be-revealed villain.
