Well THIS is a great deviation.
Not only because it's nicely done (I love it) but also because of its meaning.
It's good to know that there's more than one person in dA that knows Hermes Trismegisto.

This is rather good.. I love the colors, they stand out so well.. and i love the pattern on the bug, it looks simple but it works so well.. I love this kind of stuff, awesome job indeed definetely a What is the bug walking to though?

Popiz In reply to PicklePie [2004-07-12 21:39:04 +0000 UTC]

thanks! the bug is leaning to a water drop for a zip. Have you seen the movie Microcosmos? kind of inspired me to paint this.

The water drop, and the bug, have a whole universe inside, everything is sacred and full of purpose. There's not any difference between a little drop and the whole universe, or between a bug and a human being, me thinks.

IF you think about it from the point of view that everything is essentially made from the same components, then you're right, there is absolutely no difference between a bug and a human.. or between the world we live in and the wolrd that exists inside a drop of water. I think they're both important, and all-encopassing, and essential in their own ways, and size shouldnt determine importance.
