Whenever I had to fill a form and got to the status part, the option is always “not married / married” why can’t it be “not yet”?I’m trying to keep the half full glass attitude here!!

Oh, I know! I filled out the FAFSA this year, and once again had to choose "single."
When I printed the page out later, it was formatted like this "Marital status: SINGLE."

I was confused by one form I filled out. For marital status, I was confused because I have my girlfriend, and because I am obviously not single, I'm not married either. >_< It was a check the boxes form.

I personally think that not yet is valid.
Like there's the side of being single and planning on eventually getting married. That's valid.
And I'd like to think that if a couple are very serious and want to get married, but are still young and wanting to wait till they get through all of college first, then not yet can apply too.
So there's all sorts of way that'd apply. So I think I'm all for it! And your reaction in the last panel made me 'dawww'
