It's not like I love every song of hers, yet I love her so much, just for existence I suppose (:Ehrm.. so the background is blurry in a photo ref, so I tried to blur it while I painted, and I failed, so I blurred it in a PS (still looks like shit x))

At first I thought the background was also drawn

From the cleverly crafted and positioned hair, to the expression and the way the image seems to be focusing on her.

What I really like about this is her eyes. It's like, they are very real. She is seeing, she is seeing into the viewer almost.
There is something very beautiful here, I can not even fully express it.
So I would have to say- Amazing shading, beautiful expression with charming eyes and a very clever background blur effect.
Well, at least this is my opinion. ^^

I hope my comment wasn't kind of long to read, I just can't help it but try and write a long meaningful description whenever I see something I really like.
And I am happy that they are!
Eyes can speak a lot to me at certain times- Whether they are confused, in shock, happy, in pain, sad... A person could tell a lot about the emotions of another just by their eyes in my honest opinion. ^_^
