Description
this is a drawing for those parents who've lost their baby...I've read this tiny book for children, its an explenation for them why a brother or sister sometimes dies. I don't remember the name of the author or the book sadly enough.
so this book is about children who live in the clouds, every child has this golden ball to play with but every once in a while that ball slips out of their hands and ends up lost in our huge world. every childs has his destiny, looking for that ball.
this child, I see him looking for his destiny
it might sound silly to you all but that tiny book really moved me...
6B pencil, NO blending this time, A3 size and kneaded eraser

thanks, I think so too, a child doesn't 'just' die, so I believe this is a good way of explaining death.

is dat kindje al een tijde overleden? of ng maar net?

^^ das geen kindje dak kik ken .. maar da is zo een van die onderwerpjes waar dak een tekening wou van maken, eigelijk komt da vooral door da boekje. iemand die ik ken had da boekje voor haar 2 kinderen, omda zij 2 kindjes heeft verloren net na de bevalling.
das zoiets da die voor de rest altijd me zich mee dragen, denk ni da da gemakkelijk is

ah, ken ook zo iemand, da is niet makkelijk nee, ge hebt da kind voelen leven in u, en dan sterft da na de bevalling, da moet iets vies zijn om mee te maken.
zeer mooie ontwerp en da boek klinkt ook wel mooi
