Description
This picture I did to celebrate the 30th anniversary of My Little Pony by celebrating all the generations and character casts it's had (In the style of the current series). In the background are the Alicorn forms of Bonnie Zacherle (the creator of the My Little Pony Franchise) and Lauren Faust and all of the Generations and character sets. From the top clockwise they are:

The Mane 6 Ponies from the current series, The cast of My Little Pony Tales, The original concept designs for Friendship is Magic (which were all previous generation Ponies), The Third Generation, The Second Generation (Which was only released as toys), The Ponies from the original Pilot Special (+Spike), The first six Ponies ever made, and six of the main characters from the original T.V. series.

I know not everyone likes all of the generations and character sets but they're all important and they all have a little bit of each other, so I think that's the idea this picture came from. I had wanted to do something like this for a while and finally ended up drawing it as a print for CANterlot con and part of the reason why it's so big, I wanted to be able to print it as a poster (I actually still have some copies left)
