Here we have my latest SVTFOE OC. Whoop whoop! Right then, meet Jae Featherhawk!

Bio:

Name: Jae Featherhawk.
Age: 18.
Birthplace: Mewni.
Species: Mewman.
Birthday: October 31st.
Cheek symbol: Feather. (It may look like a leaf, but it's actually a feather :3)
Weapon of choice: Staff.
Favourite food: Fresh fruit.
Favourite colour: Green.

Personality: Jae Featherhawk is described as someone who has a "tough-as-nails" character, which primarily stems from her serious, focused and mature attitude. She's alert and quick to react, whilst also fiercely loyal to her friends and family, always sticking by their side no matter what. She's a head-strong and sometimes impulsive young woman who is tough, yet wise. Despite her stubborn nature and her tough looking exterior, Jae has a good heart deep down and is actually a compassionate and adventurous person who strives to protect the people that she cares about. Strong-willed, bright and heroic, she loves to defend her world from evil and won't give up until she's won. Initially the kind of girl to work alone when it came to fighting bad guys and solving problems, she soon comes round to the idea of teamwork and often acts as a team leader (Despite the protests of a certain fellow mewman X3) Overall, to summarise her, Jae's a tough cookie who may seem unfriendly, but when you get to know her, you'll see that she's someone who will care for you and protect you from harm. (Fun fact: Her name is not only a female variation on the name Jay, but it's also Latin for "A bird from the crow family.")

History: Jae comes from a neighbouring village that is within the same area as Azalea Flowerfairy's village, but slightly further away from Azalea's village. She is the only child of Talon and Rhea Featherhawk. Talon is a trained warrior who taught his daughter everything she knows today when it comes to fighting against evil, while Rhea runs a bakery within the village, selling delicious treats to all of the residents. As a child, Jae developed her adventurous spirit early on in her childhood (Most likely around age 5 or 6) and loved to go exploring in the forest nearby her home, often returning home with all kinds of treasures she'd find (I.E: Jewels, fancy pebbles, feathers, ETC) which she keeps in a special box in her room. Eventually, on her 13th birthday, Jae inherited Rhea's staff, which she got from Jae's grandmother and promised to use its powers for good and also promised to never let it fall into the wrong hands. Despite a shaky start due to inexperience with the staff, Jae eventually got used to wielding the staff thanks to both Talon and Rhea giving her support and advice. As the years went on, Jae began maturing and became the serious, yet good-natured girl she is today.

Five years later, when Jae was 18, she heard about the planet Earth while Gardenia Flowerfairy was visiting the Featherhawks residence in their village during a conversation between Gardenia and Rhea, where Gardenia had mentioned that her youngest daughter, Azalea Flowerfairy is currently residing on Earth. Interested by the very concept of the planet, Jae began thinking about visiting Earth herself, but at the same time, she did not want to leave her family. After thinking long and hard about what she wanted to do, eventually Jae came to a decision and so, one weeks later, she announced to her parents that she had decided she wants to go to Earth to continue her training. Even though Rhea and Talon were shocked by the sudden announcement, they supported their daughter's choice and agreed to let her go.

To this day, Jae still resides on Earth in an apartment that she had bought, but always keeps in touch with her parents to inform them on how she is and what she is up to. It is during her time on Earth that she meets Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz, before eventually becoming friends with them. As well as Star and Marco, Jae also becomes friends with Azalea herself, recognising her from a festival they both attended back when they were children, as well as recognising her as Gardenia's daughter. Through Azalea, Jae meets Storm Mosquito at the same time, recognising him as one of the last remaining members of the Mosquito clan. She oftens compliments on his swordsmanship skills, his brotherly nature towards Azalea and Jae also supports Storm's blossoming relationship with Jackie-Lynn Thomas.
