Prayer is the only personal connection humans can have with God at the moment. In the Garden of Eden, people could speak to God face to face, but with sin, we lost that ability. God doesn't need our prayers, He can see and hear us all the time; heck, He already knows what we're going to pray about before we actually pray. So why is prayer necessary?

It's because we need a connection. We can't see or hear God, so prayer is the only method we currently have to communicate with God. Prayer is solely to keep us close to God, so what happens when a Christian doesn't talk to God? The relationship is left to rot in the corner.

Please pray every day to God, because if you make that commitment, you will notice a difference in your life. ^^
