Description
Skye was placed down by Vinyl, now that he has been united with his mother, he doesn't have to carry the hatchling all the time to keep her up, she has grown up enough to start slithering on her own.
Skye was oblivious to what happened earlier as her eyes were closed, but the moment she was set down on the ground and Vinyl went to do other things, her eyes slowly opened for the first time.
The light was bright and she tried to cover her face with her wing, but instead she tipped herself too far and rolled over the dirt. Her head planted into the ground, taking all her tiny strength to get her head out of the ground, after a few minutes, she popped out of the hole!
Her eyes were blurry, all she could see is a blue blob in front of her face. She rubbed them with her wings, and soon the image was clear, another creature was standing right before her.
Skye was amused to see something like it, it's was very fluffy and soft, and it's face looked pretty strange, but it didn't scare her to at least greet the thing in front of her.
"Hi! Skye! You?" She asked curiously and enthusiastically
The thing stared at her only, it's face remained frozen, that only made her more willing to ask
"Skye! You Keke?"
Again, it didn't move a muscle.

Petal overheard this "conversation" that the two hatchlings are having and went over to see,
"Hi there, you must be the hatchling Vinyl brought with him?" She asked a bit nervously
Skye didn't exactly know what the pink tall keke said, but it sounded fun to her so she shook her head yes
"Really? Heh... then I guess you must meet your sibling then" she pushes the blue woolly thing a bit closer to Skye, "This is Mary Sue"
"Sue, SUE!" Skye pointed at the blue batch of wool, calling out its name
"Heh... yeah thats Sue, I'll just leave you two to talk okay?"
Skye nodded a definite yes while Sue stared at Petal with her immobile eyes, Petal gave a worrisome smile and slithered away to a shady tree.

Skye looked at Sue more closely, she was starting to see the similarities of a keke on her, but also found the face plastered on the wool to be pretty funny while staring at it.
Sue turned her head to the lake, which got Skye curious,
"Lake?" She asked Sue
Sue only pointed to the lake, which got Skye even more curious.
She slithered over to the lake's edge and stared at it, she was surprised to to see a keke, the same as her! She chirped Sue to come over and to her delight, slowly followed, the two then looked at the waters again, Skye could help but stare while Sue could only stare, but then...

SPLASH!

A burst of water landed on their faces, Skye shook the water off her feathers while Sue stood motionless.
Skye looked at the lake again after rubbing her eyes and to her surprise, something appeared to them at the lake.
A weird finned thing, with four eyes and a lot of pink around it. Skye held no hesitation to greet it
"Hi! Skye!"
All that greeting did though was scared the thing away, she splashed the water around her to try to find it, but it didn't want to come back.
Skye felt ashamed, she didn't want to scare the thing back into the water.
But, a small crumb rolled across the ground near the water, a few seconds later, a head popped out, the same thing that swam away now came over to land to... eat the crumb!
Skye looked back to see Sue, holding a big chunk of bread to throw at the finned thing. She got excited and asked Sue if she could have some crumbs, it was slow, but she tore off a piece and gave it to Skye.
Skye waved the crumb around the thing, it was staring at it intensely, she then dropped it and went into its mouth, they all were having fun.
At one point, Skye thought it would be cute to make a crown for the thing, so she grabbed some brightly colored flowers and make a headpiece for it, it looked really pretty on it, Sue though showed no reaction and only fed it more crumbs.

Sibling bonding, now that is precious, but what's more precious are those fishees, like, as I wrong to say I want a keke of mine to keep one as a pet?
