- People rarely call him Valmund, everyone calls him "Val", and if they feel a need to insult him, they call him "speckleface".
- He's from Iceland.
- His magic powers are sort of undefined and they confuse him a lot most of the time, his parents signed him up at AOH hoping he'll manage to get control of his powers.
- Sometimes he dreams of the future(mostly just what'll happen during the next day), or of something that's bothering someone near him, and if he does, he wakes up with strange markings on his body, which he can interpret the meaning of the dream through. If he is hurt in the dream, he gets markings where the wound would be, and they are slightly darker and last longer than the others, which usually dissapear short after he wakes up. The "wound" markings can stay for as long as 5-6hrs.
- He's still not sure whether it's related to his powers or not, but he has a constant body temperature of 38.4C (101.1F), so he's almost always warm, which is why he enjoys ice-cream and cold stuff in generel very much, and he hates wearing a lot of clothes.
- He's never really been interested in romantic relationships, he values friendship a lot and thinks it's ridiculous when people ruin friendships by getting together and then breaking up.
- He gets friendly with people easily, and opens up very quickly. He ends up regretting a lot of things because of this, and is sometimes embarrassed when thinking back upon his actions.
- He loves listening to music, and is super anal about quality (so he hates when people play music through bad speakers).
