So, I was reading some Data/Tasha fanfiction recently, and it made me realize just how much I wish the creators of TNG had developed their relationship more.

Tasha is canonically the only person Data has had deep intimacy with. And even though he's an android without human emotions, he repeatedly refers to her as being "special" to him.

So, my headcanon is that Data ends up in an alternate universe where Tasha is alive and their relationship develops even deeper.

So here's art of them snuggling in bed.

Data: I do not require sleep, but would you like me to lie down with you?
Tasha: Yes, Data, I would.
