Please leave me positive feedback on this series of photos because not only were we shooting in the rain, which ended up pouring towards the end of the shoot (I got soaking wet), but I also got stung by a bee or hornet because in one area we sort of stumbled upon a nest under some leaves and for some reason I'm the only one that got stung. This was near the beginning of the shoot, so I had to finish the rest of the photos while my leg was stinging and throbbing.

Yes, I've run out of witty titles.....
but she does look lavishly ravishing, so it works.

That's some amazing contrast! This photo's probably the coolest thing I've seen on deathchicks in weeks. I'm gonna have to +fav this one.

I LOVE the white in contrast to everything else, beautiful. And being stung by a bee in the pouring rain certainly does suck. At least you got a good photo out of it!

She's quite beautiful, the outift matches perfectly!

And I adore the autum colors, they - and the location - give great contrast to her outfit, both in depth and composition ^^

The colors. The white. The lines. The wet.

I wish for rain.

It was on a bridge over a street right near the husky stadium.

I love the contrast of her pure white outfit and those stunningly red trees. Where was this taken?

PorcelainPoet In reply to Jshei [2007-10-08 23:44:42 +0000 UTC]

It was taken on a bridge in Seattle close to the Husky Stadium- in the University area.

Awesome balance. If the wall behind her legs was a deep black the balance, in my opinion, would be perfect, (red, white, black...).

Thank you, and yeah I can see how that might be- I might play around with it later in Photoshop to see what that looks like. All I'd have to do is darken the color of the bridge.

Wonderful contrast in colours. I think the overcast, rainy conditions has produced a wonderful light. Great job.

Really? See we were originally hoping it would be sunny so the leaves would sort of shine on their own... but I guess it did turn out alright. Thank you! And we're hoping to do another shoot before the leaves all die on a day when it is sunny to see if it turns out different.

nutmeg-42 In reply to PorcelainPoet [2007-10-09 03:18:27 +0000 UTC]

Absolutely. Overcast days produce a lovely soft light. The only time I feel they don't work too well is if your trying landscape shots that have some sky in them. Great light for rainforest shots as well, not as much contrast between the light and dark of the forest.
