Description Note: Not a perfect representation.

South America has changed dramatically in 2 million years, with it once again being an island continent and flooded. A large portion of the Amazon Basin is flooded, creating a massive network of mangroves bordering the jungle further inland. A similar story is playing out further south in Argentina and Uruguay, where a new inland sea has allowed the Amazon Rainforest to reach southward, while two small islands are trapped in the inland sea. In the far south of Argentina and Chile is a sub-polar grassland surrounded by a massive desert reaching far north before meeting savannah, then temperate woodland. Much of the Andes is desert, though the highest peaks are completely bare, and a large mountain lake has allowed a mountain grassland to take root. In central South America, a huge grassland has taken rook with woods scattered throughout. At the tip of eastern South America, a colossal desert has emerged which is fractured by grasslands.
