Yukishiro Nori

Associated sub-universe: Daily Life of the Cute High School Girl Mira Kawashi (related comics for this sub-universe: 1 2 3 )
Original Location: Overworld, Japan?, School?
Occupation: Student?

Backstory:
A classmate of Mira Kawashi who also became her rival when he was pushed to run for the 'cutest high school girl campagin', where Mira's stolen virginity was the prize. Eventually becomes friends with Mira as well as the student council chairman, who lusts for him. (Very early concept of chairman and not-so-completely-designed Nori-kun: A Little More Embarrassing )

Personality:
Very friendly and sociable. Nori is also afraid of lewd things.

Design notes:
I just wanted to make a cute trap character. I initially intended for him to be more shota but then decided against it. He is inspired by a variety of similar albino traps. I really like how the japanese male school uniform can be made to look quite adorable on more feminine characters, especially when the sleeves are so long that they cover the hands. Nori's uniform is a white coloured version of that with some blue cutting here and there.

Ritchie Rainbow

Associated sub-universe: The Church of Satan (Working Title)
Original Location: Dodheimsgard, Black Flag City, Heaven & Hell Candies Inc.
Occupation: Mascot for Rainbow Drops (some candy that contains every flavour in the entire known universe)

Backstory:
The only boy working as a mascot in Heaven & Hell Candies Inc. The candy that Ritichie was a mascot for flopped really badly due to its every-flavour-in-one-candy idea being really unfavourably received by the fans of the candy company. With no money and no roof to live under after being sacked by the company, Ritchie was then introduced to the Church of Satan by a young Yuyu Venom (see 1 and 2 ), who also worked as a mascot in the same company at that time. Ritchie spent the first week in the run-down church with deep depression, but eventually he grew affectionate of the people in the church (particularly Amber , Yuyu, Cain and Satan ) and was encouraged by them to be the church's mascot. This somehow managed to boost the church's attendance, with most of the new Satan worshippers being gay because Ritchie's rainbow theme made people think the Church of Satan catered to gays, in opposition to the more traditional rival church set up by Jesus. Ritchie can therefore be somewhat credited to be the main person who sustains the Church of Satan (much to Satan's disbelief).

Ritchie's hair, eyes and tail are fake. They are all part of his mascot costume but he never seems to take them off. It is believed by the members of the church that his real name is actually Richard. Cain suspects Ritchie of having a serious mental disorder where he has completely forgotten about his original personality and has fully adopted the persona of the mascot Ritchie Rainbow. No one really talks to Ritchie about this though, because they know that he is happy as Ritchie Rainbow.

Ritchie is also superrrrrrrrrrrrrr fixated on Cain. (Cain nii-chan!!)

Personality:
Generally a very bubbly and energetic individual. Likes to strike a lot of Jojo-like poses like he's a superhero or something. Ritchie also grows very attached to the people he loves, which can get a little bothersome for them because he always wants their attention.

Design Notes:
Ritchie started off as a one-off doodle I did a long time ago. Eventually I had the idea of making him into a full character to give a bit more depth to Yuyu's job as a mascot. He originally had rainbow arm warmers though I removed those because they actually look kinda silly.

Gethrolan Tullis

Associated sub-universe: Slaughtergarden
Original Location: Engris, Engris Capital, State Office
Occupation: Secretary of the Lord Minister's Secretary

Backstory:
Gethrolan is sent on a mission with the private investigator Meryl Gusling to bring back his childhood friend Nahctaryll Azentrius from the Slaughtergarden, a mysterious dimension that Nachtaryll somehow managed to open and escape into. The Slaughtergarden story is elaborated on in more detail here: Slaughtergarden Intro (Written in 2014)

To be honest, nothing much really happens to this guy before the events of Slaughtergarden. He just used to go on play dates with Nachtaryll all the time. He's quite an important main character unlike the other traps so I don't really wanna say much. XD

Personality:
Generally happy-go-lucky. He can be quite clumsy when he does things, constantly tripping and falling. Gethrolan is a flute enthusiast, always carrying his flute around and playing it whenever he can. He usually seems to be playing a tune that sounds like the guitar licks in Aces High by Iron Maiden.

His catchphrase is 'ello guvnor!'

Design Notes:
Gethrolan was initially intended to be a girl, but then I changed him to be a boy. His name as well as his flute playing is a reference to the band Jethro Tull.

Solefald the Scryer

Associated sub-universe: The Vindsvul-Engris War (Working Title)
Original Location: Vindsvul, Vindsvullian Mystically Armed Forces Headquarters, Hall of Mystical Support
Occupation: Chief Scryer

Backstory:
In the Vindsvul-Engris War, Solefald was in charge of a team of scryers who were assigned with the task of altering any unfavourable events in the future. His good work during the war allowed him to eventually become the chief of the Vindsvullian Mystically Armed Forces. During the events of the Church of Satan and The Dimensional Collapse Crisis, he mostly spends his time with Ensifer trying to track down the whereabouts of Amber after she escaped from Vindsvul during the war.

Personality:
Because of his job as a scryer, Solefald spends most of the time sealed off in his chamber, communicating with the outside world through telepathy. He usually comes across to subordinates as a cold and frightening commander, giving orders and threats in a very concise manner. When seen in person, he rarely blinks at all, which disturbs a lot of his subordinates and associates. Solefald acknowledges this mass fear and respect for him and uses it to his advantage to get what he wants. The only people he has expressed emotion to before are Ensifer and Amber (when she meets him after the events of The Dimensional Collapse Crisis). He is quite afraid of Ensifer because Ensifer is the first person who talked to him without following the standard protocol of respectful speech as determined by the Vindsvullian military.

His personal interests include studying magic in his own personal library.

Design Notes:
Solefald was created to expand the story of the Vindsvul-Engris war a bit more because there used to be only two characters in that story: Amber and Ensifer. Like the two of them, he has hairy Vindsvullian eyelashes. Unlike Amber's more elaborate design, I chose to keep Solefald a little simpler because it's not like he ventures out of his chamber much to show off his clothing.

Cirka Sirville

Associated sub-universe: The Dimensional Collapse Crisis (Working Title)
Original Location: Dodheimsgard, Alesana City, 182 Drive-In Street
Occupation: Elementary School Student (on school break during the story events)

Backstory:
Lives with his twin sister Acacia and older brother Gavin in a small house. Cirka and Acacia are huge fans of a game called "Makai World" (YES it's a parody of Makai Kingdom/Wars) and are super invested in the roleplaying community of the game. The game was so popular that the mayor of Alesana City declared that with the new technology Dodheimsgard has acquired from Vindsval, he will open a portal into the universe of Makai World so that everyone could finally meet their favourite characters from the game. Cirka and Acacia, being the top 2 players of the game and the most famous within the community, were assigned as the primary advisors of the mayor in this dimension-crossing project. I'll not say more from here on because Cirka is an important main character~ (And also because I never really worked on this story much lol)

Personality:
Typical kid that is addicted to his handheld gaming device. Unlike his overly-emotional sister, Cirka is generally stoic. His favourite game is Makai World and his room is filled with posters and figurines of the game's characters. Cirka's are over-sized, giving him a speech impediment that causes written depictions of his speech to be showed in numbers. E.g. "Critical hit!" becomes "Cr1t1k4l h1t!"

Design Notes:
Cirka started out as an experiment where I tried to draw a character with braces. I guess it kinda worked? He originally had horns, which I removed because he's a young demon and they were kinda obstructive.

Agent Jean Weinman

Associated sub-universe: The Intergalactic Spy Ring (Working Title)
Original Location: Overworld (1500 years into the future), ???, ??? -> Engris, Engris Secret Intelligence Headquarters, Intergalactic Affairs Branch
Occupation: Regular Troublemaker -> Secret Agent

Backstory:
Jean is originally from a futuristic human world in an alternate timeline which underwent a dimensionl meltdown, with him being the sole survivor because he was in an indestructible portable toilet. This caused him to drift in space for a while until he was picked up by one of the first space explorer vessels from Dodheimsgard. He was kept in a labratory for ten years due to him being declared as an alien for his non-pointy ears. His adventurous nature drove him to sneakily catch a flight on a subseqeunt space explorer vessel to possibly return to the human world, however it only led to him being trapped in a space station. He caused trouble on the space station for a while by stealing a lot of stuff like a rocket launcher, but he was eventually captured by Lieutenant Kerry Ayreon to become a trained spy for the Engris Office of Secret Intelligence.

Personality:
Jean is sporty and energertic, always willing to go on dangerous missions. The strange colour of his hair and eyes are a result of him surviving the dimensional meltdown when was a child. He is highly interested in creating different kinds of explosives and not as keen on stealth-related activities.

Design Notes:
I tried to make a character with a more punk-like appearance, inspired during the time I was playing a lot of Borderlands. Also, braces.

Lieutenant Kelly Ayreon

Associated sub-universe: The Intergalactic Spy Ring (Working Title)
Original Location: Engris, Engris Secret Intelligence Headquarters, Intergalactic Affairs Branch
Occupation: Secret Agent Commander

Backstory:
Kelly used to work as a State Office bodyguard leader, making him an associate of Meryl Gusling (who also worked there before the events of Slaughtergarden) as well as Araya Venom (who took up the job after the events of the Church of Satan). He joined the Engris military during the events of the Dimensional Collapse Crisis and was then assigned to be the commander of a team of secret agents under the newly created branch of Intergalactic Affairs. His first mission was to capture Jean Weinman and force him to be a secret agent. Lieutenant Kelly used to have short hair, but was instructed to grow it out after he joined the Intergalactic Affairs Branch so as to allow for him to disguise himself as a woman during certain missions.

Personality:
Experienced in being a commander since his bodyguarding days, Lieutenant Kelly is strict with his subordinates and does not tolerate failure. He is extremely displeased with his feminine appearance, driving him to wear a fake moustache during his early days in the military. He is very patriotic towards Engris and has a deep-seated revulsion for Vindsvullians and Dodheimsgardians (particularly those from Black Flag City).

Design Notes:
I'm currently serving in the army as a conscript so I see a lot of uniforms everyday. Lieutenant Kelly's uniform is a bit of a combination of the number 3 and number 4, the former of which is more for office personnel while the latter is for those out in the field. I had ideas of creating a little story about general army personnel, but after watching The Venture Bros, I got very inspired to create a very James Bonds-ish secret agent kind of story. And so I moved Lieutenant Kelly over to this story alongside Jean.

VITRIOL

Associated sub-universe: Deaf Hell (Working Title)
Original Location: Dodheimsgard, Black Flag City, The Crotchduster (a strip club)
Occupation: Entertainer / Informer

Backstory:
Not much is known about the early days of The Crotchduster's most prized entertainer, VITRIOL (which is not even his real name). Many seek VITRIOL's services mainly for his sensual performances, though a small few know of him as a highly valuable information merchant. VITRIOL possesses an ability which allows him to drug clients with his words and then proceed to extract information from them. He has interacted with a lot of major players in Black Flag City during the timeline of Deaf Hell, including Sunbather Industries CEOs, Blinding Hell-associated gang leaders and Dodheimsgardian ministers. He is one of Inferno Randy's (the name I decided to give to this guy ) main contacts as well as contractors for assassination work.

Personality:
Technically the trappiest trap that literally traps his clients. I don't think I even need to elaborate on how horny VITRIOL can get. When it comes to dealing with information, VITRIOL expects sufficient payment. When displeased, he will fire the uzi that he keeps under one of the pillows of the bed in his service room.

Design Notes:
Originally a small idea sketch in Idea Dump 2 , I decided to make a character out of VITRIOL. Gave him like more horns because y'know, horny. Ehe.
