Description A cake i made for my little sisters party this weekend! This is my second attempt at a cake like this, the first was for =MOGsplosh 's parents on their anniversary...which there is a picture of earlier on in my gallery

So her favourite program on TV right now is called in the night garden It's a cute little show, and the characters ontop of the cake are from it

It's a rich chocolate sponge with a creamy chocolate buttercream under the icing. It was a lot of fun to make and i'm really in the mood for cake baking now! Even after the disaster the first time i did this cake The models are bought from a shop, as it was a fail when i tried to model them

What do you think? Any tips from cake makers out there would be awesome!

IGGLE PIGGLE AND UPSY DAISY! My nephew used to absolutely love In the night garden hehe! Makka Pakka, Akka Wakka, Mikka Makka moo! Makka Pakka, Appa yakka, Ikka akka, ooo! Hum dum, Agga pang, Ing, ang, ooo! Makka Pakka, Akka wakka, Mikka Makka moo!
LOL I shouldn't be able to remember that!!! He used to make us sing the songs to him haha :3
In other news hehe...I love the cake Your cakes are very cute, I am very much in the mood for lovely chocolly cake with chocolly buttercream now! Did you put the little guy on this cake? I've forgotten his name but I want to say Marvin...-checks- MARVIN! How's that for memory hehe! Is he on this cake? I love him!

I DID! Hehe i'm VERY impressed that you remembered his name! Yeah i should have put him more round the front so he could get in the picture...but yes i had a marvin on this cake too! I think he's going to be like my trade mark!

Ahh I'd almost forgotten about that Wowzer, I may have to order lots of things off you! Hopefully Christmas won't set me back too much, or maybe my dear family'll be willing to return the presents and buy me some!! I may indeed like it! At an estimate how much do you think it'd cost? Ooop that's another point, I should put some money in the bank shouldn't I?! I only have about £4.80 in! Don't think I'll be buying anything with that hehe! Yeah I think I'd still be interested Woww what did we say before? Was it going to be a stretchy or charm bracelet? :S I honestly can't remember any of it! I have a pacman belt though, it'd be great for it to go haha!

I have a feeling we said a stretchy bracelet but i can do either so if you'd prefer a charm bracelet i can do that A stretchy bracelet would be £10, but a charm bracelet would be £14 (with £1.50 Postage as always ) Hey lets hope your family feels lovely and kind like last christmas and get you something hehe. It was the rainbow cupcake and monster bracelet last time if i remember rightly?

Hehe I don't know what I want, I make too many plans...I've spent a lot of today planning a rainbow wedding It looks so fun I have a strong urge to send you a print screen of my folder I've planned cakes, dresses, centerpieces, favours, flowers...And it's all rainbowy I shall have mannny bridesmaids in different colours...Harhar I'm planning hair and shoes and everything I would consider having rainbow swirly lollipops in my bouquet, but they're the favourrrr...I'm thinking about it harhar

I condidered a rainbow wedding too! It would be so much fun! Bridesmaids in the colours of the rainbow I think i want pink now though...hehe predictable i know But i'm like you...i know everything from venue type to music, from cake to shoes! Will my husband get a say in it??...no comment

Been doing that most of this evening... Cake ideas and examples, my centerpieces (jar of skittles/sweets with balloons tied on)...the bottom right is the table names, which the balloon colours will correspond to...dress colours (couldn't find the same styles in bright colours, all muted ), real examples of the colours to see how they go together...I'm still looking at hair haha, but I think I'm going to have mine reaaaally long and very curly Maybe with little colourful ribbons or beads or something...Definitely tiara and veil though I'm classy hehe. Flowers are to be pink, purple and orange - all looked a bit odd heh. And it's still not done haha. I am currently looking at hair, venues, music, shoes etc...Ahhh I'm in such a girly mood today
Harhar darn tootin he won't get a say in it...t'is the lady's day of course!!! The guy gets his reward during the wedding night LOL!

Aww Thank you so much! Yep, all on my own! Well, Vik helped my with things like mixing the second time around, otherwise i never would have got it done in time
Aww it just takes practise! Start off picking some really easy recipes to get used to basic baking and cooking rules, then once you're used to it, you can make more interesting things!
