Description The Striped Tree Pecker is a sub-species of Feathered Skish, it's ancestors moved to the more "warmer" regions of Pangea || (which has been slowly breaking apart) and then diversified into almost every niche that wasn't already taken by the normal Skish and the Flish. As you can see this resulted in the evolution of the Tree Peckers! Which fill the niche of a Wood Pecker, they use their beaks to peck trees and see if there hollow or not, if there hollow they will look for insects inside the tree and eat them, sometimes even eating small TeraSquids.

(This is for a spec evo project that is supposed to be a fan made sequel to The Future Is Wild)
