Description
This one was made in approximately 1 hour! No, it's not a mass production print... I was just waiting for my pc to finish scanning for viruses so I sketched some portraits. I was quite pleased on this one because I was only using pencils but the sketch was so clean (meaning, very little construction lines). I decided to take a picture of it using my webcam. Looks pretty cool already! I then decided to colour it in photoshop. There you have it... the final product of impulsive drawing, "Sultry Agathe".Related content

Other than making her a bit darker, I think it turned out great for a quick sketch, however, I must be honest, as pretty as they are, I don't think the windows wallpapers work as BGs unless you take them through a filter in adobe, Im sure it's just me, but whenever I use them I like to make them look more like a drawn photo then a real one, personaly, I like smart blur, but you don't need or have to listen to me, was just the workings of my little mind. Again, nice work.

That opinion is very well noted... Thanks for taking the time to help me improve my art. Your contributions are very much appreciated. I'm just really lousy at drawing BG's. I will start working on them though, since it has been brought to my attention that it will actually improve the piece. Isn't learning neat?!

Eheheh... If you say so. Well, I'm thinking of drawing the girls showcasing some tattooes. I'm looking for good patterns & yours look very appropriate. Unfortunately, I can't faithfully reproduce them. I'm going to experiment a bit on other patters like "tribal" or "stripe". I think this next project is going to take a while since I really want to make my own backgrounds.

Sounds cool, if you want to try to use mine, go for it, but I think you should try doing something to the backgrounds you have been using just to make them fit, for now anyway, until you get to the point where you are able to do backgrounds by yourself. ^_^

How I wish I can faithfully reproduce that dragon or that pegasus... T_T. But I must focus my efforts on a more urgent matter, BACKGROUNDS... I have always admired landscape artists. I also happened to see a fabulous view out of town. It's a good thing I carry my sketchbook everywhere!! Now if only I could find my pencil sharpener...
